I offer walk/play sessions appropriate to your dog’s energy level and temperament.
My goal is to reduce stress and increase well-being for your entire household.
I am also happy to provide guidance regarding basic care & training. I’ve had dogs at my side for over 25 years, in two different countries and through many adventures.
I have continued to expand my knowledge base through volunteer opportunities and formal seminars and courses in canine health and cognitive development.
I’ve been very fortunate to learn from some of the most knowledgeable trainers and behaviorists in our region including Trish King (Canine Behavior Associates), Mardi Richmond (Good Dog Santa Cruz) Lori Katz (Kindred Spirit Dog Training), and Joanie DeNeffe (Fresh Start Dog Training).
I have learned first-hand the value of a strong canine-human bond and I am here to support you on your journey.

We called to schedule visits with Deanna when we got our precious Corgi puppy, Banjo.
He was just 3 months old, and that was two years ago. He had a senior dog for a companion, but really enjoyed and benefited from the socialization he got when Deanna visited with her dogs or took him for walks or on outings. Banjo got used to running, jumping, and fetching the ball; he has become a master at it. Thanks to Deanna and her crew, Banjo does really well with other dogs – his size and smaller. I’ve never had a well socialized dog whom I could take to parks and the beach and watch him play. It’s a whole new thing and I love it.
Now our senior dog is the one who really needs Deanna’s special TLC. We adopted the sweetest 3 legged Mexi-mutt from CAPE over 12 years ago. Peque is still as sweet as ever, but can no longer walk. We feel confident that Deanna can attend to his special needs, which is a rare gift. Deanna bathes Peque, and pays attention to his general health and hygiene. Additionally, Deanna tries to accommodate our schedule and keeps in close contact when necessary. We can leave our dogs with no reservations when they are in Deanna’s care.
